Meet Dr. Suzie Park

Suzie Park, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians with nearly 30 years of primary care experience. She earned her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, her medical degree from the University of Michigan, and completed her residency at Northwestern University. She previously practiced and taught at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Her clinical focus includes chronic health management, metabolic conditions, and women’s health — with a longstanding commitment to treating the whole person, not the chart.

Dr. Park's path to Direct Primary Care is rooted in a deep belief that medicine works best when the relationship comes first. In 2025, she completed a certification in Theology, Medicine, and Culture at Duke Divinity School — a reflection of her conviction that lasting healing requires attention to body, mind, and meaning. Prior to launching her clinic, Suzie co-founded and directed RAMble, a walking wellness program at VCU built around community and connection. DPC gives her the time to practice the way she has always believed medicine should be practiced: unhurriedly, relationally, and attentively.
